Studio Hammer Deich

Studio Hammer Deich

…is a work and rehearsal space in Hamburg-Hammerbrook (Rothenburgsort) that has existed since October 2020. The space was founded and funded by choreographers Raymond Liew Jin Pin and Jascha Viehstädt, and jointly initiated by the founding members Carolin Jüngst, Lisa Rykena, Ursina Tossi, Maria Zimpel, and Tin Yeung Huen (currently associated artists are listed here).

The studio is conceived as a permanent space for work and exchange with a flexible time model. Available capacities are made accessible to the independent scene on an hourly or block basis at the lowest possible rates. Some of the available slots are allocated by the Dachverband der freien darstellenden Künste Hamburg (DfdK) through the Tanzraumförderung program.
