06.12.25—About AI, Light and Living Beings
A hybrid evening of performance and lecture with experts and artists.
so soft and the sun and About AI, Light and Living Beings are two-parts of a lecture performance inviting audiences to explore, together with artists, writers, and researchers, how technology shapes our perception and the forces surrounding us.
In a space designed by stage designer Takaya Kobayashi, we approach the relationship between humans and code through various formats: The movement study and sun simulation so soft and the sun by choreographer Jascha Viehstädt is complemented by lectures from Dr. Deniz Sarikaya and Omer Altaher, who bring perspectives from AI research, epistemology, and light physics. Read text fragments by different authors direct the gaze toward the phenomenon of the sun. The evening so soft and the sun + About AI, Light and Metamaterial creates an open, unformatted moment in which we collectively ask what software does to us and how it changes our relationship to the elements and systems that surround us.
