How do we move within paradoxes that trap us no matter which way we turn?

„The Double Binded“ is a project by the dance collective LIMINAL LAB. In their first piece, Camila Frattari, Yareli Alvarado Macario, Karenina Lizama Leirana, Ana Paula Salcido Adán and Emma Steenblock explore the concept of the double bind – an often recurring pattern in which an individual faces conflicting demands or expectations from their environment, making it impossible to satisfy both. These contradictions take different forms, they appear, disappear and re-emerge, deceive and entangle in a veil of confusion, frustration and paralysis.
